Association promotes use of drinking fountains

The installation and restoration of drinking water fountains is important for communities.

Drinking Water Fountains tremendously value the importance of the product that we sell. And we are not the only ones!

The Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association was established in 1859. The main objectives of the Association are to promote the provision of drinking water for both people and animals. Its work focuses not only on the UK, but also on international projects. The Association also deals with the preservation of drinking water fountains, cattle troughs and other installations, restoring and maintaining them for communities.

The Association also provides grants for schools’ drinking fountains, restoration work of fountains and overseas projects to supply clean drinking water for international communities in need. The Association sets up drinking water fountains and then passes them onto local authorities to maintain, working alongside them to ensure the fountains are looked after and successful.

Drinking water fountains are an invaluable addition to any public or private setting, and at Drinking Water Fountains, we strongly encourage our customers’ investment in this fantastic resource. They are stylish, practical and great for your health and the health of our planet.
